Interesting video. I have a smoothing plane that was made in Sheffield (or perhaps just made with Sheffield steel). It’s one of my favorite tools in my shop.

Thanks for the like AND the reply Dan.. Hope it wasn’t too boring for you ( my first real vlog) though as I said it was just to test me editing ability..a way to go yet !! If your smoothing plane is a STANLY then it was made in Sheffield indeed 😎
