As my profile says, “I’m a WYSIWYG kind of guy (WYSYWIG..What You See Is What You Get). My given name is Patrick, I was born in 1948 and for followers of astrology, I’m a double Leo. I worked as a detached youth worker for twenty odd years (now retired) as well as having served in a Cavalry regiment (13/18th Royal Hussars (QMO) ..) for nearly 10 years. I am Married to a wonderfull woman and have Two grown up kids, a son and a daughter and three amazing grand daughters who fill my life with pride, love and hope for the future.
The second part of the title is a little harder to accommodate..WHY BLOG ?…well…I am not a writer or professional blogger, just a guy who feels his life is a bit too ordinary and, like a graffiti artist or vandal with a spray can, depending on how you view graffiti, I feel the need to, not so much as to howl at the moon, but to leave a small mark on the world…”Hey world I’m still here, kicking and breathing…”.
I started a blog about a year or so ago and initially I was quite excited at being a part of the ‘fad’, but quickly I realised I didn’t really know why I wanted to blog in the first place, nor what I really wanted to say to the world….SO…to gain direction, focus and generally learn from other bloggers, I thought BLOGGING 101…??? WHY NOT !!
